The heat is upon us but living in the Fort allows me to walk from one meeting to another. Although to be fair, most of our meetings are usually held at our new joint, Unit 27 Apartment Bar + Cafe.
Regardless, nothing like a bit of lace for a touch of elegance. I stay comfy in a pair of skinny jeggins and my trusty sneakers for all that cardio. This is also a casual enough look for a baby shower for my Miss Universe batchmate, Shamcey Supsup-Lee.
There is something to be said about high necklines – or a hint of it, in this case, that ups your style game. With a little bit of imagination, the neckline actually reminds me of my 2009 Miss Earth National Costume. Except, the latter was almost entirely hand-made and designed by my mom and me.
I can’t get enough of lace this season. In fact, this Tularosa Clayton lace top is also available in red and a tunic. Definitely worth checking-out in time for Chinese New Year. Yup, Chinese New Year is less than a month away. What are you wearing to usher in the Year of the Monkey?
Outfit of the day:
Lace green top: Tularosa
White skinny leggings: Cotton On
White sneakers: Converse
Black cross body bag: Zara
